I provide clients clarity on what to expect and keep them informed of progress. I assist team members when required and make sure resources are in place for staff to carry out their work.

Evelyn Shaw is a Client Service Manager in our Wealth team. Based in our Aberdeen office, her role involves supporting the team with the smooth transition of Kilkee clients, ensuring they continue to receive high levels of service.

“The most satisfying aspect of working with a new client is organising all their documents, sometimes dating back years that have been filed in a drawer somewhere, into one easy document that they can now understand.

Additionally, I enjoy the relationships I build with clients. Many of these clients I have been dealing with for over 15 years and I genuinely look forward to a quick catch up when they come in for their review meeting.

Seeing colleagues develop in confidence and progress their own career paths, knowing I have played a part in supporting this is also really rewarding.”

ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

“It is important to ask open questions and in particular “why do you want that?” and “what else do you want/need?” then “anything else?” until you’re sure you fully understand their goals in order to help the client achieve them.”
